Gallery L opens in Hiroo, Tokyo, exhibiting the AWATA COLLECTION, which is comprised solely of works by Lou Zhenggang.
In April 2024, Gallery L opened in Hiroo, Tokyo, exhibiting the AWATA COLLECTION, which is comprised of various works by Lou Zhenggang. Mr. Takaya Awata, President and CEO of Toridoll Holdings Co., Ltd., which operates Marugame Seimen, is the owner of this gallery and an avid collector of Lou Zhenggang's works, one of Asia's leading artists.
“We would like to share Lou Zhenggang’s masterpieces with art lovers and inspire them with the power of her genuine works. By viewing them up close in the relaxing atmosphere of a residence, we want to bring them as close as possible to the joy of living with true art everyday." This desire led us to open Gallery L.

LZG studio is pleased to announce the online exhibition "Everything Flows" by Lou Zhenggang.” The different expressions of the Ocean through a play of colour, depth and light, portray the transitory nature of existence between joy, melancholy, and the headiness of contemporary life. At the same time, Zhenggang celebrates the Ocean’s rich universality and wisdom accumulated through thousands of years of existence.

The book “ Drops of Water Wear out the Stone, Small efforts, Grand Results- Lou Zhenggang’s Recent Paintings” is published
Curated by Shimbata Yasuhide/Chief Curator of Artizon Museum(until 2018 Bridgestone Museum of Art).Ishibashi Foundation.
Lou said “I entrust my spirit as a whole of each painting: I want to touch the spirit of the person who looks at my work . I want to keep painting, to the very limits of my self control, without collapsing.” The works in this book introduce some of the paintings that Lou Zhenggang has continued to draw in her studio in Izu in recent years.
