We are pleased to announce that the calligrapher Lou Zhenggang will exhibit a collaborative work with LALIQUE ART at the 2nd Tokyo Gendai (July 5-7, 2024, VIP Preview and Vernissage on July 4, 2024).
LALIQUE (LALIQUE JAPAN CO.,LTD.), an official partner of Tokyo Gendai, will exhibit three collaborative works with Zaha Hadid, an architect who has left behind great achievements, as well as a collaboration with Seiko Lou. The series of "Sun & Moon" will be presented for the first time in Japan.

A press preview and reception was held at the beginning of April. On the day, the gallery welcomed its owner, Takaya Awata, along with Yasuhide Shinbata, Curator and General Manager in Education of Artizon Museum, and Simon de Pury, Auctioneer, from whom greeting speeches were given respectively. A conference about the gallery was also held.

In April 2024, Gallery L opened in Hiroo, Tokyo, exhibiting the AWATA COLLECTION, which is comprised of various works by Lou Zhenggang. Mr. Takaya Awata, President and CEO of Toridoll Holdings Co., Ltd., which operates Marugame Seimen, is the owner of this gallery and an avid collector of Lou Zhenggang's works, one of Asia's leading artists.
“We would like to share Lou Zhenggang’s masterpieces with art lovers and inspire them with the power of her genuine works. By viewing them up close in the relaxing atmosphere of a residence, we want to bring them as close as possible to the joy of living with true art everyday." This desire led us to open Gallery L.

At the same time, Zhenggang celebrates the Ocean’s rich universality and wisdom accumulated through thousands of years of existence.

Lou said “I entrust my spirit as a whole of each painting: I want to touch the spirit of the person who looks at my work . Lalique Art & Lou Zhenggang in HONGKONG "Sun & Moon", the series co-created by Lou Zhenggang and Lalique Art.
For the first time, an abstract canvas takes shape in Lalique crystal. The artist Lou Zhenggang has traced the sun in enamel, while Lalique craftsmen have shaped the moon motif. Six clear crystal panels, each enamelled, present themselves as single paintings on which the brush has imprinted its ink. , the series co-created by Lou Zhenggang and Lalique, is imbued with the serene atmosphere of a landscape.
